Well it's been a long time coming but we've finally cleared everything again. Actually, that's a lie -- Yogg'saron with zero keepers remains, but we'll get that in the next few days.
We suddenly have a lot of free time on our hands now that we've finally killed Anub'arak! I reckon we must've spent at least 300 attempts trying to kill him, but it might be even more.
A lot of triallists have come and gone. Tanks have been shouted at, DPSers lobotomised and healers de-testicled. But at LAST the stars aligned and we got a kill last week. You can click the image above for a
slightly larger view.
And THEN... we went in there tonight and one-shot him!
BOOM! Easy! Iron Edge has a way of wiping in every possible and conceivable way before getting a kill. Really, you'd be amazed at what we can wipe on. You have to laugh or you'd cry, I guess.
But when we finally GET the kill, we repeat it... easily. We would've had the 50-attempts achievement if it wasn't for our shitty mages and hunters dying on the Twin Valkyrs. Next week though, next week we'll do it with 50 attempts remaining.
Also of note: our B-raid finally got the heroic Beasts of Northrend down! I think they've been working on that even longer than we've been working on Anub'arak.
Go team!
Now bring on Arthas! I have my eye on a particular flying horsie...
